When the curtains of night draws across the skies
My sight searched for the first sign of starlight
It need not be big, it need not be bright
For in the day, i can't see it's light
Yet i know it's there shining with all it's might
So with the sun out of the skies
I cherish it's efforts with a big warm "hi"
I will be your moon shining in lonesome nights
I will be your sun shining with the brightest cherry light
But i'll rather be the star, always shining day and night
Your sunshine might not be me, but that's alright
Your moon might not be me, but it's still fine
I'll just be around 24-7 shining with all my might . . .
I was listening to 'Twinkle Twinkle Lil Star' when i got reminded of this one poem that i found & like almost instantly..
So there it is..copied & pasted as above..
Kinde relates to me i guess..i will be his moon, shining in lonesome nights..i will be his sun, shining with the brightest cheery light..
I mite not be the sunshine he wants..the moon he gaze upon..but i will be his star, always gonna be there for him whenever he needs me..
I love you baby..
Wishing for a rainbow @ 3:16 AM
